Beginners - Loosing Weight/Shredding Fat
One final question to get you to the information... How does your body generally respond to exercise and dieting?
The hard gainer; it is unlikely that - if you are truly a hard gainer - you are in the weight loss/fat burning area, as your struggle is usually putting on weight. No matter how much you eat (and workout) you can never seem to put on weight.
You will generally also have a narrow body structure with thin extremities. If you do put on weight (usually due to inactivity and poor diet in combination with age) it tends sits on your mid section.
Choose this category if you 1 - have never attempted to follow a nutrition regimen and are unsure as to how your body generally responds to a reasonable diet; Or 2 - You are in-between the other two options.
You tend to put on weight/muscle pretty easy when you try to, and are able to drop fat fairly easily when you change your diet/exercise plan accordingly.
Big - Your general body type. You can pack on muscle mass almost by osmosis. The drawback is that if you aren't careful with how you eat and don't keep active, you put on fat just as easily.
If you are generally in-shape, it is fairly easily for you to build muscle. Your struggle is getting lean enough to show it off.
If you have never been in really great shape, when trying to improve your body composition you are the one who can never seem to lose weight/body fat the way you want no matter how little you eat or how hard you work out.
Choose this option if this struggle sounds familiar.
This option is also appropriate for those who are unsure of their body type but really want to focus on weight loss.
